The most important work of the church is the making and growing of disciples. Jesus commanded his disciples to “go and make disciples of all the peoples…teaching them to keep everything I have commanded you.” Discipleship and Spiritual Formation share so many aspects. This class will explore the meaning of spiritual formation and discipleship from Scripture, theology, church history, and its role and importance in the church. The course will equip the student with practical ways to build a spiritually formed and disciple-making church.
