Mike Flavin
Rev. Dr. Michael Flavin has spent over 42 years in full-time ministry to students while serving as associate pastor at Presbyterian churches in Illinois, California, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Currently retired from full-time ministry, he continues to be passionate about helping the next generation know Jesus and their place in His Church. He maintains his ordination and involvement in ECO and is currently serving as a student ministry coach at a number of churches. Mike has an MDiv from Bethel Theological Seminary in St. Paul and a DMin in Marriage/Family Counseling from Palmer Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. He also received a BS in Theater from Bemidji State University. Mike has taught counseling and student ministry as an Adjunct Professor at Pillar College in Newark, New Jersey, is a trainer for Prepare/Enrich and has led seminars at The National Youth Workers Convention. He and his wife Dr. Amy Flavin (a Licensed Professional Counselor) have spoken at and led numerous marriage enrichment retreats. They are parents to two grown children and grandparents to five amazing grandchildren. They currently live in suburban Minneapolis.
