Rev. Dr. Doug Rumford started following Jesus over 50 years ago in Cincinnati, OH. Doug earned his BA from Miami University (Oxford, OH), his MDiv from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (South Hamilton, MA), and his DMin from Fuller Theological Seminary (Pasadena, CA). He was ordained in 1978, serving first as an associate pastor and then as a lead pastor in four Presbyterian churches from 1983 until “retirement” on July 1, 2022. He is currently the founding president and CEO of “Lorica Ministries”. Lorica’s mission is to equip people to experience Christ’s abundant life through spiritual vitality and intentional living. Doug has written a number of books, most recently SoulShaping (Second Edition): From Soul Neglect to Spiritual Vitality. He has been joyfully married to Sarah for over 48 years and has four grown children and five grandchildren. They live in Orange, CA, just about 8 miles from Disneyland.
