Preaching Principles and Practices

An essential part of ministry is proclaiming the truths of Scripture, especially the good news of God at work in Christ Jesus. This can come in a variety of forms, including a full sermon before a Sunday congregation, special services across the year, adult gatherings and youth groups. While each of these are very different settings, there are vital skills to proclaiming the scriptures in ways that connect with listeners and help the message be heard. This class introduces students to the essential practices and principles of preaching.
