Introduction to Old Testament Exegesis & Interpretation

This class is an introduction to the content and interpretation of the Old Testament. Students will ex-plore the historical setting and major issues shaping the various parts of the Old Testament, and the context in which they have been written. The class will look at the different genres, from history to law, poetry to prophets exploring how these different writings may be understood and interpreted for faith and ministry today.

This class is required for all LLP, MA, and MDiv degree tracks
