Catechesis was the ancient way to make disciples in the early church. This catechetical process played a very important part in shaping the kind of faith that was transferable and resilient in a culture that was not hospitable to the Gospel. This course will focus on both the history and biblical theology of this catechetical process. In terms of practical theology this course will prepare students to craft and create catechetical forms in each local congregation. The syllabus can be found here.
